At the federation of Beckwithshaw, Kettlesing Felliscliffe and Ripley CE Primary schools we aim to provide a community of compassion. A place where all children are courageous and who grow together, guided by love.
Our school uniform is as follows:
Required Items:
Tie - Royal blue and gold stripe tie (available from Rawcliffes)
Trousers, shorts or skirt - Grey formal trousers (shorts for summer), skirt or pinafore dress. Light blue and white checked summer dresses can be worn in the Summer Term
Sweatshirt or cardigan - Royal blue sweatshirt or cardigan with school logo (available from Rawcliffes). Alternatively, a non-branded royal blue sweatshirt or cardigan can be worn.
Shirt or polo shirt - White long sleeve shirt (short sleeve for summer – white polo shirts with logo are also permitted in Summer – available from Rawcliffes). Alternatively, non-branded white polo shirts can be worn.
School shoes - Plain Black Shoes
Socks/Tights should be plain white, grey, black or navy.
A recommended book bag or school rucksack can be purchased from Rawcliffes School which pupils use to carry reading books, reading diaries and homework books to and from school.
PE Kit - Royal blue sports shorts, white polo t shirt with logo or non branded, navy blue tracksuit bottoms, Ripley sports hoodie or non branded navy blue hoodie, and a pair of trainers. These items should be kept in a drawstring bag.
Forest School Kit Warm waterproof coat (Waterproof mac in summer), Wellington boots, Waterproof trousers (weather dependant), Spare pair of socks, Hat and Gloves in Winter
All Items should be clearly marked with the child's name. PE and Forest School Kits should be in school at all times.
One pair of small stud earrings and a wrist watch (not a smart watch) is allowed but must be removed prior to practical lessons such as PE and swimming. If children cannot remove their own earrings, then this should be done at home on the day of PE.
Our Friends of Ripley School PTA have a wide selection of nearly new school uniform available year round for a small donation. Please contact the school office for more details.
PE Kit
Required Items:

T-shirt – In white. Can be purchased from any supplier of your choice. A t-shirt embroidered with the school logo is also available through Rawcliffe’s School Wear Shop in Harrogate.
Trainers – Suitable footwear for outdoor PE. Can be purchased from any supplier of your choice.
PE Bag – A navy drawstring gym bag with the school logo is available through Rawcliffe’s School Wear Shop in Harrogate. A suitable alternative can be purchased from any supplier of your choice.
Optional Items:
Sweatshirt or Hooded Top – In navy for outdoor PE. Can be purchased from Rawcliffe's School Wear Shop or any supplier of your choice.
Jogging Bottoms – Royal blue or navy tracksuit navy for outdoor PE. Can be purchased from any supplier of your choice.
