Class One this half term are learning all about transport - and why it is important. Reception children will be learning all about the different types of transport and discussing when and where they have used these. Year 1 children are specifically looking at the topic ' How did we learn to fly'".

The children will be visiting the Yorkshire Railway museum in York, to explore a range of different types of trains through history. They will be able to get up close and personal to the different models, comparing size, how they work and which countries they came from. There will be lots of discussion around any train trips they may have personally taken too!

IMPORTANT: Please note that all children across the Federation will be travelling by coach from Ripley Endowed CE Primary School. We therefore require all parents across the Federation to drop off and collect from Ripley on Tuesday 23rd. All children will require a packed lunch brought in from home for the visit. More details and permissions to follow.
